Government of India had sent a cultural delegation of Indian artists to China in the year 1953. The Indian government had chosen Master Krishnarao as the leader of that artist group. These artists used to sing sampoorna Vande Mataram along with Master Krishnarao in the tune composed by him in raga Jhinjhoti.
